Nick Parker’s new album now available

I am sure many of you will be interested to know that Nick Parker’s new album is now available.  It is called The King of False Alarms and was released at the end of July 2010.  After playing with various bands over the years (such as Why? and Tobermory) this is Nick’s first solo album.  It has elements of acoustic, folk and country in it and if you like that kind of music I can 100% recommend the album.  You can buy a copy of the CD from Jaywalk Guitars (in Street High Street), from Glastonbury Music Shop or from Nick’s website www.nick-parker.co.uk.  Alternatively you can buy the album from various download sites such as iTunes or Amazon.

I can also recommend a visit to Nick’s website.  There is a chance there to listen to sample tracks from the album, to see videos and photos, and to read the latest, including more about the The King of False Alarms.

I have included a video on this page below which is taken from Nick’s website. If you click on the play button, you can hear Metaphor (a track from the new album) and see some video footage of the recording sessions which took place in a cottage in Devon.
