Our churches

There are three churches in the parish as listed below.  However, although we worship in three separate buildings on most Sundays, we are also a single community of Christians and we meet together for combined services and other activities.

Street Parish Church

Parts of the Street Parish Church building date back to the 13th century. However the inside of the church has recently been completely refurbished

(the work was completed in 2004).  Of our two churches in Street, the Parish Church is the more traditional both in the building and in the style of worship.

The church is situated in Church Road, opposite Crispin School and Strode College.

Walton Church

Walton Church is an attractive 19th century church which serves the village of Walton (near to Street).  In the normal monthly series of services, there is a mixture of traditional and more modern and informal services.   The church is situated in Main Street, Walton and is easy to find, in the centre of the village

Street Mission Church

Street Mission Church is situated in Vestry Road in Street (Vestry Road is the road which joins the High Street opposite Living Homes).

Of our two churches in Street, the Mission Church is the more modern both in terms of the setting and the style of worship.  Services at the Mission Church are normally quite informal and there are separate groups on most Sundays for children and young people.
