Welcome to the new website!
As you may know already know, I have now taken over the role of editing the parish website. This was a role which David Parsons filled very successfully for many years. In fact it was completely down to David’s initiative and abilities that the website was first created.
As you can see, I have redesigned the site. This was partly to give it a fresh look, and partly to make it simpler and easier to maintain. However, David produced a lot of fascinating material for the previous website, and I will move as much of that as I can onto the new site over the next months.
I hope there will also be plenty of new material. I am planning to keep copies of our printed publications (Lifeline and Life) on the site for reference, and also to produce other materials of interest. Roger Harmsworth has got us off to a great start by giving me some excellent photos of recent events in the parish. And any contributions that anyone wishes to make will be very welcome: photos, articles, book or music reviews, prayers you may have come across, any useful internet sites you have found. Anything you think may be of interest to others in the parish will be welcome.
I would also welcome any feedback on what is on the site, and suggestions for what you might like to see. And don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any technical problems with any of the pages on your PC. Any feedback of that kind will be very helpful.
